About the Artist
Khachen Artsakhetsi was born in 1947. In 1971, he graduated from the Panos Terlemezyan Art University. Since 1976, he has worked as an artist and teacher at the Art School in Abovyan. From 1991 to 2003, he was the director of that school, making a huge contribution to the development of art education. He actively participated in national and international exhibitions, as well as held solo exhibitions. In 1995, he was invited to Germany to present his art in Berlin, where his works were highly appreciated.

1987 — For outstanding work in the field of aesthetic education of the younger generation.
2013 — For dedicated and conscientious teaching at the art school.
